Sometimes bright meteors leave luminous trails in the upper atmosphere that may last several minutes. Such a persistent train was imaged above. The photographic appearance lasted about 10 min. Strong winds in the upper atmosphere torn the train apart due to different wind speeds and directions at different heights.
