In mid of January Camelopardalis culminates at about 21:00 LT (9 pm).
The position is far north and the above photography almost reaches the celestial north pole.
The visual appearence of this constellation is very faint and hard to identify, even the
visually brightest star just has 4th magnitude (Beta Cam, second star from left in the
visual view).
Apart from the deep sky objects in the lower part of the photography, which mostly belong to
Perseus
or Cassiopeia,
there are almost no galactic
deep sky objects in Camelopardalis.
The galaxies are usually too small and also too faint to be shown in such a big
field of view.
