A bright fireball appeared at about 0:02 UT in the west just below the constellation
of Lyra. A persistent train remained visible to the naked eye for about a minute.
Photographs reveal more details and show a longer duration of the visible meteor
remnants in the atmosphere. Almost a minute later, a weak perseid meteor joined
the meanwhile deformed persistent train.
