This is Comet Hale-Bopp at the evening sky, seen from the Pik Terskol
Observatory in the northern Caucasus (Russia, Kabardino-Balkaria). The
comet appeared just above the Elbrus, which is with 5642m altitude the
highest mountain of the Caucasus and, if you put this area to Europe,
even the highest mountain of Europe.
