Drone View of Meteor Camp 2024

Meteor Camp 2025 will take place at August 22nd until 26th (because of moonlit nights around August 12th).

The drone view shows the sources of light pollution around Meteor Camp 2024 at Münsingen-Buttenhausen. Bright sources are Buttenhausen close by, the city of Münsingen with its industrial zone, and the cities of Stuttgart and Ulm around 40 km in the distance. Sky brightness in the zenith went down to 21.26 mag/arcsec² at 2:16 CET or 3:16 CEST. Compared to a natural sky brightness this is brighter by a factor of around two. The following night was a bit darker with 21.39 mag/arcsec².

Measurements were obtained with SQM-LU-DL, serial number 2030.
